Yamanashi Prefecture Trips

Relaxing charming vibe of a hotel. Excellent location. Room is clean, compact yet functional, well thought out. However the only downside is that to get to guest rooms, you have to take a set of lifts up to 14th floor (main reception), then a different set down to guest rooms which adds a little inconvenience at the end of long day. Do hope this arrangement might be temporary though. Otherwise really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was amazing. So nice and helpful. Somehow they left a better impression than the beautiful scenary.

Loved how spacious the rooms were, convenience of kitchenette and laundry machine in room, and walkability of most public transport. Short distance from TCAT station is convenient for anyone taking the limousine bus to/from either airport. Front desk is manned most of 24 hours with good people. Hotel also held our luggage for free up to 24hrs. This hotel was the "central hub" from which we traveled all over Tokyo.

Clean room, helpful staff

This was a very nice and clean hotel. However, we were there in January and it was extremely hot. There’s no air conditioning and if there is, she said it was off during the winter. We had to keep our siding glass door open during the night to be able to keep it cool enough to sleep. There is a sister hotel right next-door that does not have the word SHIN in it. My friend stayed there. They had AC so I would recommend it over this one. Breakfast is $35 so not the best place to eat, especially if you like American style. There’s not much to walk to in the area. The only place to get an ultimate breakfast would be 711 that is located inside the hotel or taking a cab to McDonald’s or somewhere else. So it is a beautiful hotel. They had a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. I have nothing bad to say except that it was way too hot in there and again you couldn’t really walk anywhere to eat. they do speak English there so you can function, but they do not understand much at all. If you have to ask any difficult questions, lol. But you’ll check in and out just fine :-)
