We booked the lighthouse suite, but didn't get it. Despite the reason given by the person at the counter (who, I'll say, was nice and apologetic) and all the extra info we were given, I think they just canceled our reservation because they thought we'd "made a mistake" and gave us a standard room. We got a token rebate, but still wouldn't have stayed here for that price if we'd been forewarned. You still get a partial view of the ocean, a fridge and basic amenities, but the walls are paper thin and the bed is very firm.
If you do want the lighthouse suite, you have to book through the phone, directly with them.

We certainly did not, and would not cancel your reservation. A guest was unable to vacate the light house room and as a result we moved the reservation. We sent advanced notice and in this unusual situation that is the best we could do. We do hope you will return to enjoy the light house and are sad to receive such a low review and feedback but appreciate you taking the time to send it to us.

The room was decent and clean. Nothing special just a simple room. The room got really muggy and hot if the window didn’t stay open. After showering even with the fan and bathroom window open the steam would set off the fire alarm which was super annoying. Overall the place is clean and simple. You can hear the ocean from the room the view wasn’t the best. The price wasn’t terrible either. Brian was super helpful and nice. Overall this place was nice and comfortable.

Very nice basic motel. Polite staff. Clean and organized. Close to downtown Yachats. Beautiful ocean view.
