Easy access on and off Hwy 101. Very helpful staff. Reasonable rates for the area. Great breakfast. Comfy beds. I would stay here for a week.

A wonderful surprise! Couldn't have been more pleased with our room. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and the view was brilliant. Things get hammered on the coast. And while this hotel.did show its age a bit, you can really see how the manager and staff work to improve and maintain it.
No place is perfect. Yes the walls are thin and I kept expecting someone to fiddle with the door to the adjoining room. Plus, other visitors had thier kids out on the lawn hollering and playing at 11pm which is rude. (Perhaps a rule establishing a quiet time?)Also, access to the beautiful beach is tricky as you must negotiate down a steep, and often slick, dirt path. Certainly the motel would only benefit by adding durable metal steps or at least a hand rail.
But all in all, we LOVED our stay there and will be back! Hopefully in the same room as we enjoyed it so much. Kudos and great job to Silver Surf's management and team!

Thank you so much Kevin! We did have a group of guests the weekend you stayed with us (they had multiple rooms) who were not very considerate of our property and it's policies. Our quiet time is supposed to start at 8pm. Never hesitate to let our staff know if other guests are impacting your stay! We look forward to you staying with us again and I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.

This property was absolutely beautiful and just as close to the beach as it seems it would be in the pictures! 10/10 would absolutely stay again!

Great peaceful scenic location, right on the beach. Room and bed both clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast items. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave so soon !! Thanks for everything. C.

Pool dirty, room needs some maintenance, room next to us was a maintenance work room with noise and loud music starting at 7am.

The room had a wonderful beach view and easy access to the beach from the hotel.

Nice access to a large, clean beach. Pretty decent breakfast facilities. Rooms themselves were pretty dated.

This property is older, but good value. It's great to be on the beach. It's nice that they offer a continental breakfast. The hot tub is noisy, but it works!
