Luxury Hotels in Xcaret, Playa del Carmen

"This was my first visit to a Princess Hotel. Boooed 48 hours before arrival due to the disaster that happened in Jamaica Check in and concierge service was friendly and very helpful. I travel as a wheelchair user. Accessibility for my wheels around the resorts was brilliant. Entrance to the swim up rooms would have been difficult for me due the the lack of handrails to make the first step down on to the platform where the handrails began. Obviously this would not concern an able bodied person. Luckily we were given a jungle view room which for us was fantastic. We were in 5015. We list peaceful and serene vies All the restaurants provided excellent food and dining experiences. We found the Asian restaurant to be too loud for us. We had sushi in the main buffer. "

"Our first time staying here, we loved chatting with the members and hearing about years past, many return guests here. Nice rooms and decent food. A well priced quiet vacation to relax. Beachfront isn't the best we have seen but we still seam. The resort had recreated large sand dunes as a break water to protect the erosion of their beach. There is a very quiet area of sea to float, swim or soak. Easy to get around with mobility issues. Drinks are the slushy kind and okay. Great ocean views from restaurant. Great for relaxing quiet vacation. "

"This is a great place if you're not too picky. It does have some current renovation problems. Some buildings closed. Some building in need of a major overhaul. The restaurant La Laguna literally had rain inside, but I did not mind. Not raindrops. Rain. Kind of added to the charm for me. It seems like a great place for kids, but mine are full grown now. It has a water park & a kids club so parents can solo things. Many animals around, surrounded by jungle, cenotes, mini rivers, etc. Has some adults only sections. Drinks are easily available most place. Food selection is very nice. Its buffet quality, but I loved the variety. Somethings could be improved like better communication from staff. That was lacking a bit, but overall, nearly everyone I interacted was genuinely friendly. I went during rain season, so there were not as many tourists. I highly recommend & will most likely visit in the future again."

"I recently stayed at the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa All Inclusive in Mexico, and it was truly an incredible experience from start to finish! The resort is absolutely stunning — surrounded by lush tropical gardens, pristine beaches, and beautiful pools. Every corner feels like paradise. The staff were beyond amazing — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The service throughout the resort was top-notch, whether at the front desk, restaurants, or poolside bars. The food and drinks were fantastic! There were so many options, from delicious buffets to à la carte restaurants with international cuisine. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails were perfectly mixed. The villas where I stayed were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for. I especially loved the attention to detail — the housekeeping team kept everything immaculate. The beach and pool areas were perfect for relaxing, and there was always something to do — from snorkeling and kayaking to live shows and entertainment in the evenings. The spa was also an amazing highlight — peaceful, rejuvenating, and a great way to unwind. Overall, I can’t recommend this resort enough! It’s the perfect destination for couples, families, or anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, adventure, and luxury. I’m already dreaming about my next visit!"

"This is our favorite AI resort!!! (We have been to 5 others in Mexico and Punta Cana). We love the food, service and infinity pool. TRS has premium alcohol and superior food variety and quality over the other resorts we have visited. This was our second visit, so we tried to explore more of the non-TRS amenities/restaurants. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the other options and will probably stick with TRS going forward. I will say the property & rooms are showing some wear and tear - and could use a refresh. Overall - it's a wonderful choice! "
