Clean and spacious but a little disappointing
Posted 25 Feb 2024 on HotelsHotel was spacious and very clean. My only issue is that it was being decorated which we didn’t know in advance and there was a paint smell. Unfortunately the smell of paint makes me very unwell and as such I would never have booked to stay there if I’d known ahead of time. This somewhat marred our stay, and as we had booked a show in town that night we really needed a bed somewhere. Rather disappointed that we weren’t told ahead of time.
The breakfast was nice and definitely needed after a poor nights sleep with breathing affected by the decorating and being unwell with it.

The staff were amazing and so helpful.
The room was lovely.
Food and bar area was great .
Amazing stay and very friendly people.
Recommend this little jewel of a hotel.
