When we booked via Expedia we booked a Lakeside Cabin. When we arrived we were charged the same rate but only got a small hotel room.
The beds were shocking and it will be our first and last stay at this property. Check In instructions and room location were non existent till I asked.

On first entry the cabin smelt of urine .
Front stairs of cabins need replacing.
Cockroaches on entry then more on re entry after being out for the evening, yuck.
Sticky floor.

Hi Sandra, thank you for your review, we have currently just had new manager start with us as we are working on renovating & fixing both motels up, as you could imagine this wont be cheap, As for the insects you are opposite the lake and this is common, however we have had pest control here 2 times in the past 2 months

Every single toiletry in my cabin was empty. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and dish soap. Found it ironic they had items to wash your dishes but no sink to wash up in. The basin the the bathroom didn’t drain so any sort of rinsing of plates had to be done in the shower. Plates and bowls were dusty and not cleaned in a long time. A previous guests pyjamas were still under the bunk beds. There was an inch of DIRT not dust actual dirt under the lounge and beds. No extra bin liners available. Extra sheets in cupboard but no extra pillows or blankets. The cleaners simply do not care by the looks of it and the owner/managers obviously do not do check overs. Such a shame because the location of this accommodation is as so good.

Pretty good but could easily be better
Posted 4 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe size of the apartment and amount of bedding was great. The pool was lovely. The room was clean and the bathroom was updated and clean. But the room needs maintenance and repairs. The oven wasn’t working, there were no cutting knives provided, the kitchen tap was half hanging out. Overall though, we would book there again.

The check in experience was bland. He wasn’t interested. Just wanted to get the job done. We had questions but he wouldn’t make eye contact.
