The property was in desperate need of renovation. The staff was extremely nice. The location is great and you can tell it’s an up-and-coming area. I probably would not stay there again unless it was renovated. The pictures were deceiving.

Dear Michael, thank you for the feedback. What a pity that you did not receive a room that you would have liked. We have different room categories and the balcony rooms for example have all been renovated in the last year. Renovating is never stopping at a hotel like ours and even if we struggle to recover from the very bad covid time, we still keep investing. Its a bit sad that instead of talking to us, so that we could perhaps have found another option for you that you would have liked, you just wrote that the whole hotel is "in desperate need of renovation" which sounds as if everything is completely run down. Which is definitively not the case.Anyhow we wish you a great time in Namibia!

Decent stay, good price

Overall it was an ok stay. Breakfast wasn't all that great with very little selection on the buffet, and no indication that there were any other options. Room was nice, but loud from outside noise. Hotel isn't very close to anything. There are a few restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. Everything else was an uber ride. Not much to see in Windhoek, except Joe's Beerhouse.

Dear Albert, thank you for the feedback. We are glad you liked our rooms and I am sorry to hear that there was loud outside noise. We are in a calm area in Windhoek but what we often hear is that people who come back from the wonderful silence of the desert are irritated by the noise of the town. There is not a lot of traffic here and of course sometimes other guests or also neighbors can be loud. In case of other guests being noisy, our nightguard is approaching them to please be considerable towards other guests.Concerning the breakfast we offer much more variety than most other guesthouses: cold cuts, cheeses, smoked game meat, fresh fruitsalad, muesli and cornflakes, home made rolls and other bread, fresh cut tomatoes and cucumbers, cottage cheese, variety of jams, joghurt, scrambled eggs, boereworst, bacon, boiled eggs and on request fried eggs or omelette. We think that this is quite a nice selection. Should anything been just emptied, our staff is instructed to replace it directly. Please let us know if you think something is missing! Thank you

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Very close to all key destinations around Windhoek.👌👏👏👏
