Very friendly hosts who know lots about the local area, walks, pubs, restaurants etc. Parking is a 5 minute walk away but worth it and loved Bowness.

What a great place, so clean and comfortable and just 5 minutes walk to the pier. Angus and Sherry were lovely and look after all their guests (people and dogs) very well. The breakfast is delicious too.

Lovely property very close to all amenities. Comfortable and reasonable priced. WiFi not very good but doesn't detract from an enjoyable stay

Posted 9 Jun 2023 on HotelsThis really is an amazing place! The owners are brilliant, two people who clearly love running a guest house and it shows. From check in to check out, such a personable service. The property is brilliant, it was super clean, the rooms were great and it was so close to everything. We also had our dog and they couldn’t have been more accommodating, they probably loved the dog more than us! We will definitely stay here when we go back.

Had to laugh about loving the dog more than you. We do love dogs and are perhaps more affectionate to dogs than people but tickling a guest on the tummy is frowned upon I think. You were all lovely and can't wait for your next visit.

Perfect location, Amazing Guest House
Posted 25 Apr 2023 on HotelsMy girlfriend and I stayed at this incredible guest house in April and loved every minute of it. We were given a warm, friendly welcome on arrival.
Our room was spotless, and had everything we needed from coffee-making facilities, hair drier, and even a fridge. The rain-effect shower was amazing, too.
The owners have thought of everything, even down to little things like a little jar in the bathroom containing cotton buds, wipes, and "lady products." There were even doggy blankets.
We didn't have breakfast there but wish we had. The location is superb for exploring Bowness, and we would not hesitate in revisiting or recommending this place to anyone visiting the area.

Thanks Mathew. Breakfast is great here but a lot of people just prefer to chill in the morning and pop out for a coffee which is why we only charge those who want it. Maybe next time you can try our fabulous butchers Cumberland Sausages.
