A very old, interesting house, close to city centre. A warm, friendly host provided great breakfasts and information.

Listed building so it was a novel experience. My toilet was down the corridor and I had a bath but no shower. Owners were very friendly.

The bed and breakfast was good. The room was large and warm. Nice big windows and a desk. The internet worked well. There could have been an improved TV and Remote. A few more teas, coffee and biscuits. A refreshed tray. The bathroom was large and nice as well. Three guests could have slept in the room. It had a couch and (2) chairs. Dottie and her daughter were very nice. I enjoyed my stay for (2) nights. Helen DeVries

Weekend get away
Posted 21 Jan 2024 on Hotels Really good location within walking distance to town. Beautiful property with lots of quirky features that added to character. Our hosts were really nice and had a good chat with Rosie during breakdown. I would say the only negative was the bed. I found it a bit too hard for my comfort level and struggled to sleep but it was only for one night so was ok ; )
