Didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Was on Sunday night and there were food trucks and music. Room was nice and clean and cheap. Bar staff were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people and would have been nice to light the wood fire

Thanks so much, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! we were a little busier than expected launching our new beer, and our staff were a little flustered with the new menu we also launched, hopefully next time you visit we will be nice and bedded into our new ventures. It was a shame we couldn't use the fireplace, it is booked into be cleaned so we should be up and running in a week or so.

Cute little place to stay, but could have been cleaner. Lots of cobwebs and dead flies in the windows.Towels and linen were all clean and fresh, and the staff were very friendly also.

Carpet must have been last cleaned in the last century, most light globes missing or broken, shower when switched to handheld sprayed water out of broken pipe and not head

My apologies you did not enjoy your stay with us Even though the carpet is old it is regularly cleaned however saying that it is overdue to be replaced. With regards to our lights I will speak with our cleaners as they should have informed us about them on their daily cleaning inspections, I have replaced the globes immediately after receiving your review as we do keep spares on the property, and of course as soon as I knew about the shower the seal was attended to straight away also. Again our apologies for your inconvenience and hopefully if you stay with again in the future your experience will be a more pleasurable one. Thanks so much for your review as it has highlighted some concerns to be address with our staff.Kind Regards

I didn't like the birds nesting in the roof above my room and their scratching around all night.
