All that was needed was a cloth in room, to wipe up any mess made.

A functional motel in the middle of Whangarei so convenient for most shops and attractions. Comfortable enough though the bathroom toilet area was quite cramped. A little bit tricky to manoeuvre out of the parking place allocated to the rear. Generally fare value though.

Felt really dirty. Upon checkin, lifted toilet seats and it had what looked like pubic hairs. So gross. Lady that came to clean it had no gloves. Got changed to another room which was nice.

UHT milk in fridge out of date, no cups or plates in kitchen, iron shape burn on carpet, beds were comfy, shower was great, good location.

Property was dated but clean and lots of room. Staff were very nice. We weren’t looking for an expensive high end place, this suited our needs quite well.

The motel room didn't have a kitchen sink, it didn't have a dish cloth to wipe down the bench, it didn't have a tea towel.
I don't believe the hand basin is very hygienic for washing dishes etc. People wash their nickers in the hand basin.
The walls of our room were very thin. We could hear next door talking and the TV, and when they used the shower or flushed the toilet.
