Arrived after 7pm to find all the windows still open and cold. The heater in the room is very small and took a whole to heat up the size of the 1 bedroom room.

Suggest you arrive earlier or phone to let us know you will be late and we will certainly shut windows and turn heater on which is normal practice. Your comments would have been most welcome at checkout

While the rooms are an excellent size and meticulously clean, the interiors and furnishings are aged or tired.
Also as an observation, if staying in winter, the rooms take a while to warm up. This is due to the size of the room (not a bad thing) and the high ceiling with the exposed beams (also not a bad thing). Just be prepared to wait.

Thanks for your comments Michael. However I must point out that all the interiors have been redecorated in the last 3 years. Also fitted out with new curtains, couches, chairs ovens and fridges. Most units have new beds.

The motel is not in good conditions. Then it is a motel. It was hard to find a lot of hotels in the town

Staff & service was excellent.
The area was excellent in terms of location.
Great river walks , shopping.cafes, markets,town centre
all within walking distance or a very short drive.
Building a little dated the only negative but everything else
more than atones.
