Great hotel, friendly staff and nice decor. They have a nice bar and restaurant which serves local German food and drink

This was the best hotel so far during our two-week trip to various cities in Germany. My friends and I were photography fans so we tried staying at this hotel which located within the Leica global headquarters campus. There was a Leica museum right across. The hotel though is remotely located away from downtown Wetzlar but one can take a taxi from the Wetzlar train station for an average of 15 euros. The hotel can also call a taxi for you if you want to go to downtown.

It's beautiful and modern with a nice check-in staff. One complaint is that I needed the hotel to call a taxi for me to pick me up in town and bring me back to the hotel and the person on the phone at the hotel refused. I'm sorry, but this is a simple and valid request but they couldn't bother to get me a taxi to bring me back! When a guest asks for something legal, you do it. Full stop.
