i really really really wanted to like this hotel but it was just one let down after the next. Got to hotel and was very tired had train and mill saws all night. In my room my beautiful ocean view was flawed by a huge crack in my window. Woke up next morn just deciding to roll with the punches take a hot shower...no water pressure smh ants all over my room. Now food that everyone raved about..yes what they have is good BUT 80% of whats on menu they dont have. Came to sri lanka for srilankan crab..and got this hotel so i wouldnt havr to leave my room..all 4 days no crab.but your right on beach?! Cheese toast..oh we have but no cheese wth?! Lastly arranged shuttle on the way back they said 2000 ruppes extra and the driver will take me around colombo..well driver never got the memo so i was stuck at airport 5 hrs early with nothing to do and had to pay him 1000 extra rupees because he stopped 1 place on the way. To end on positive note the front desk female clerk was gorgeous and all the staff is very pleasant but with all the eff ups guess they have to be. Also the massage was DIVINE!
