"Good value for money. Decent size twin room with table and chairs. Clean and comfortable. Lovely ensuite bathroom with shower. Soap, shampoo, body wash and body lotion (no hair conditioner) provided. Check how many towels when you arrive as only 1 set for 2 of us and inconvenient to ring reception when settled in and about to shower. Pool, sauna and steam room good. Jacuzzi same temp as pool, unfortunately. Breakfast ok but not too much for vegetarians and some items run out."

"Anither great stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and tidy with a great tea tray, jammie dodgers all the way! Bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and cushions, great view of the park. Breakfast buffet was really good quality and lots of choice. Iverall a fantastic stay was had :)"

"Hotel is in a good location. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Lots of selection and tasty. Parking was easy and lovely views of race course. My only complaint, which is small, was that there were no bottles of water in the room and the tap water was not nice. I have never been to a hotel without bottles of water in the room. We arrived home from our party, got ready for bed and went to the mini bar assuming water would be in there. It was empty with a sign that said to get snacks from reception. I rang for room service for the water as we were ready for bed. Was told it would be £10 for two bottles of water and I’d have to come down for them as no room service after 9:45. Was already ready for bed so passed on that. My husband went down to get some from our car at 7am. Not ideal! Helpful hint, take your own water or buy it before you go to bed!"

"This 3* hotel faces the Lincoln Cathedral and is near to Lincoln Castle. Plenty of onsite parking at £7/day. Unusually extensive breakfast and lunch/dinner menus with a quality of cooking that deserves 4*. Rooms are a good size for 3* and the hotel is about to carry out some renovations (Oct 2026). If you need to be close to the shopping area of Lincoln this may not be the best choice but as a touring base it's very good."

"A really charming hotel in the historic centre of Lincoln with booked parking. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was beautiful with traditional touches, huge and very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities. We attended for a small private function, the a la carte menu was superb with great attention to detail and staff ensured we had everything needed. Breakfast was cooked to order with a buffet table containing very good quality cheeses etc. Overall, we were absolutely delighted with our stay. This hotel exudes charm, old fashioned values with modern twists and the staff are the icing on the cake. Loved it!"
