Markets, churches and museums feature in the center of this town, with a wildlife zoo and enchanting villages in the outskirts. Make a family trip to rural estates and parks.
Lively, good restaurants in centre. Recommend La Rustica. But need to book in advance if race day is on!

Excellent
It was my first stay in Donny but I'd go back for a stayover. The pubs are great, we were there in a group of over 30 of us to celebrate a friends 60th birthday and we had marvellous time. It seemed like a nice safe place to be.

"This was an excellent one night stay at a lovely hotel in the middle of Leeds. To be honest, I have often ignored Queens, as I had the impression that although high quality, it was expensive. However, when I booked, the price including breakfast was actually less than the nearby Wellington Premier Inn.
The room was well appointed, very clean and quiet. The bar was a lovely room and reasonably priced for a hotel bar. The only complaint I would have is the poor choice of beers, with only lagers on draught and no bitters or IPA.
Breakfast was buffet style but excellent, with plenty of choice of hot food, cold food, pastries and cereals. The only negative was that the tables were very close together, and the clients were not spread about the room, but concentrated in one area exacerbating the noise."
"Really good hotel ,great service from staff, excellent on looking after bags after checking out. I would say better than other marriot stays, of which were good ."
"I have stayed there before, lovely room, breakfast plenty of choices and I would recommend it. Love the smell of the shampoo/body wash (wish I had one for home). Would stay there again in the future."
