This is a mixed review as we had two rooms and they were viewed very different one good and one not so good, maybe it depends if you are in the main building.so main building very good value for the money, not main building, noisy, bed not good , shower very caravan like.

Amazing food and very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent and very helpful when we added extra nights to our stay. Would of liked AC and maybe a small fridge but that’s my only criticism.

Check in was awful. Girl lacked enthusiasm, lacked customer service skills in our interaction with her. No offer of assistance, even though I was struggling to move around with my walking stick and watched as I struggled to carry my bags up the stairs to my room.

Property and room ok staff quite friendly second night terrible smell coming from shower drains had to close down as smell was keeping me awake complained in morning about smell and asked staff member to come to room to witness it said she couldn't leave desk so spoilt second days visit

A place to come back to

Stayed before. Easy check in. Room very nice. Ate in restaurant first night. Very good meal however service was a little slow. Near to where we wanted to visit so will use again. Pleasent location in centre of nice village by the pond. There is an outdoor seating area but we didn't use it during our stay.

Great accommodation and food

Great place most of the staff friendly, restaurant was quiet but the young lady made me feel that I was putting her to a great inconvenience to get me a table. Which I wouldn’t except for residents Food was very nice

Been refurbished since we last stayed, good restaurant and the rooms and bathrooms all upgraded. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the Manager on duty even organised a packed lunch for our journey. Nothing was too much trouble
