The perfect hotel in every way, staff, rooms, breakfast and the Pompodour restaurant was amazing

There was a slightly musty or damp smell in the room which wasn’t very pleasant. We could also hear all the traffic as the windows are all single glazed. Everything else was fab

Although I am sorry to hear about the damp smell in your room. "The Caley" is a A-level Heritage listed building hence conservation regulations and heritage preservation guidelines must be followed to ensure that any modifications, including double glazing, maintain the building's authentic character and comply with conservation standards. Beautiful Hotel and extremely attentive staff
Posted 15 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe hotel has a warm and friendly feel. Among the beauty and grandeur we felt valued and special.
Special mention for the very helpful doorman who went out of his way to make us welcome. I didn't catch his name, but he was working on 14th February.
Our room was immaculate and comfortable with plenty of space and well-equipped. Toiletries are lovely but I would have appreciated a vanity pack (I forgot my cotton buds)
Peacock Alley is amazing! We will go back.
