As seniors we found it a difficult climb to our rooms on the second floor. Apart from that all was good.

Room very hot and unable to adjust heating. Much too hot for sleeping. Otherwise hotel very good.

I enjoyed my stay at the Royal Oak Welshpool. Rooms were lovely and clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nice dining area to have lunch or evening meal. The breakfast I had included in the price was very tasty. Would deffinately visit again.

Great Hotel but....

Staff friendly and check in had no issues.
Food was lovely and good portion sizes.
However zero sleep. Sound proofing was poor, traffic noise. We had a long drive the next day and needed an early night. There was excessively loud music thumping for hours which completely spoiled the stay. We were not warned the function was being held and it intruded on our stay.
A pity.
