Great location handy to all Areas , friendly Staff , had Room warmend up for us &luggage in Room (as we where on a Day trip ...Would definitely recommend &stay there again

The room I was given so bad I had to request a change. That wasn't much better but was high enough up that some of the noise outside could be ignored.
The overall cleanliness was bad, the kitchen area salt/pepper shakers filthy, first rooms dishwasher broken, broken bathroom fan so it stayed damp which explained all the black mould everywhere. The first room had no headboard just an old hard mattress against a contcrete wall next to a filthy cold window. There was gaps in the windows, the only heating was a small old oil heater that did nothing. Incredibly basic, old, even swelling & stains in the walls and doors from where there's been an obvious flood at some point. The toilet made random noises throughout the night that were so loud I could even hear it through earplugs. Really one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had, and I've had a lot.

The rooms are very dated and areas falling apart. Mould in most of the grouting in the bathroom/shower. Beds horrendous and have clearly not been updated in the room I was in.
Road works on the Terrace outside the room all night, whilst not the hotel’s fault, this highlighted the lack of double glazed windows and any sound-proofing/dampening at all.
Very few redeeming features of this hotel and I personally wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent location when on holiday with main bus stop right out front. 2 mins to train as well, never needed a rental car at all. But property extremely run down, needs to be bowled or shut down and fully renovated. Room was spacious enough and good with having a young child as I could close off bed area but wouldn't stay again due to condition of property.
