Nice small hotel
Posted 9 Oct 2020 on HotelsThis is a small hotel in a small town rich with wineries. The hotel offers a big free parking and a nice inclusive breakfast. The hotel restaurant is open on all days and offers local dishes and wines. Our room was not in the main house, and perhaps not standard, but the division is excellent for a couple with children as it consists of two separate units. For a couple, it was a suboptimal usage of space. For the value for money, the hotel is recommended and the restaurant is good too.

Pleasant little hotel

A Rhineland version of a country inn
Posted 9 Apr 2017 on HotelsThis is an inn connected to a larger restaurant across the street a small German town near the Rhine. The room, however, was up to date and large, with a nice shower and a large bed. Having the restaurant was also a plus for both dinner and breakfast.

Pros: Quiet location, large room, excellent breakfast.
Cons: The room was not cleaned and made when we arrived about 6 pm. We went to dinner and it was ready when we returned.
Location: Located in on a side street in a small town near larger cities.
Typical German small hotel in a quiet part of a small town. The first impression was not good as our room was unmade when we arrived in the late afternoon. That was corrected during the time we spent eating dinner in their restaurant. The food was quite good, good value, but the service a bit slow, even by German standards. The room was above average size, well furnished, with a very good bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices.
