Check in desk was unattended, I had to call and wait several minutes for someone to come and check me in. Others were also waiting longer than me.
Easy to get to from the main road. Upgraded to a 2 bed room easily. Staff friendly. We were disappointed that there was not a clothes rack to hang up clothes on.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us here at the Super 8 by Wyndham Waverly. We do apologize that the desk was unattended as the staff do have other things that are part of the job description that takes them away from the desk, so that they are not able to just sit and wait all day doing nothing just for guests to walk in. We do apologize for the inconvenience of not having a closet area as we are in the middle of renovations and as of the moment are at the mercy of the manufacture's for the case goods we have on order for the rooms.

Everything was fine. I would have loved some hard-boiled eggs, and the towels were as the room was clean. I would wish for some towels a little thicker, larger more absorbent.

You know what you're getting
Posted 3 Mar 2024 on HotelsStayed on 3/1/24. I certainly know what I’m getting from Motel 8. I’m not paying for deluxe accommodations and that’s reflected in the price. The grout in the bathroom, well, don’t look down. The walls are paper-thin. Luckily, our neighbors were quiet. No plastic sanitized cups, or cutlery, so bring your own. There was an office chair for the desk, but it was not adjustable and sat way too low to be useable. The mattress was firm, but ok for us. The sheets had a strong odor of bleach, but in this case, I'll call that a plus. Final analysis: we needed a place to lay our head at night, and this was perfectly serviceable. We stayed at the Cobblestone Hotel in Waverly the next night. Twice the price, much nicer, but essentially, the same outcome.
