The staff was universally wonderful. Everyone was pleasant, cheerful and enthusiastically helpful. Deanna at the reception desk was especially attentive and helpful. And “Z” in the restaurant was charming and efficient.
Also the maitre d’ was wonderful.
Also it’s immediately adjacent to the Metro, so a very easy hop into DC. My first choice the next time I visit.

Great Hotel. Despite its age it's a beautiful property with great room service and customer service. Would most differently stay here in the future

This is a good street to be on. Not loud and everything is in walking distance.

I asked about breakfast and didnt get an answer other then are you a member. We didnt have time for a sit down breakfast but something with the coffee would have been nice.

There was a black out in the area during our stay. The hotel staff did their best to fix the situation so the elevators were back up and running. They served free coffee and donuts. They couldn’t have been nicer.
The situation was out of their control and it was Easter Sunday.
I would stay here again,

Very conveniently located right at a Metro station. We plan on returning to this hotel in the future. It is very clean with wonderful staff.
