Communication was not good at all. I paid via Expedia, get to the hotel and it’s a whole other story. Shower was cold. I called and nothing was resolved, it wasn’t taken care of. The fact that my children had to take cold showers is absurd. During my check-out I ask for the lady working to explain to me the charges and she handed me to the paper to look at and wouldn’t explain to me. Very disappointing. She looked like she didn’t want to be bothered with me. Very rude and unprofessional and I was very kind. I try not to complain, but how I was dealt with during checkout was unkind. Check in was amazing. Whoever checked me in Friday morning was the sweetest person EVER. So kind and attentive and answered all my questions. Unfortunately, this was my first and last time staying at this hotel. I wanted to book my second stay for May, but the check-out process was unpleasant and the lack of concern for my children and I showering in cold water wasn’t taken care of, I would never come back or recommend this hotel to anyone. I travel 5-6 times a year and this experience was very unpleasant. One highlight I would point out is that my children loves the pool.

overall i would stay there again. we lost cable for 24 hours and with 3 kids that was very difficult. The staff was not as understanding and did not seem to care. there is no free coffee during the day (its 5$ a cup). the breakfast is great, the omelette team is stellar! the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. the restaurant, the tap room is pretty good.

We loved the location. The property was clean and the breakfast was great. Issues with the tv controller in one room and a sink in the other room. We did get $25 vouchers to use toward dinner at their restaurant which is part of booking . The restaurant was fine nothing to write home about. We did order out with DoorDash for the kids (local pizza place and sandwich shop). I was a bit frustrating to learn about additional fees and the amount of those fees were bit expensive at check in. Some of those fees were disclosed at time of booking on the Expedia website others were not. Overall it was fine. Good location- we ubered to the White House and walked from there to other attractions. Generally I wish there was better communication from the front desk staff - maybe they could be a bit friendlier( but not disrespectful at any point). I would recommend staying here we kids- I also recommend calling in advance and asking about all the additional fees and parking information.

Nice hotel, great size room for family of 4. The front desk receptionist when we checked in late at night was quite rude and didn't make eye contact. She didn't even say "Welcome". The other receptionists were very nice and welcoming. The front entrance outside the hotel has a really pungent garbage smell...made coming and going a bit uninviting.
