Amanda. I was very sorry and quite surprised to read your review. As you will have seen, anything short of a 05/05 review for Greensleaves’ accommodations is extremely rare. Nonetheless, customer satisfaction is paramount, which is why you were fully refunded, despite the fact that all claims are strongly disputed by the host. I would like to take this opportunity to address your review as follows:1) No evidence of sand, there we a few ants no spiders was found on the headboard, on the floor, or in the trash bins following your stay. The rustic open ceiling is part of the charm of our unit. The roof is fully sealed and no evidence of Bermuda stone debris has ever been observed to date.2) Bermuda‘s damp climate can sometimes cause a musty smell, therefore the unit is regularly aired out.3) We purchase the complementary food provided for our guests in bulk, long before any expiry date, and freeze the items, which are not expired by virtue of having been frozen until placed in the unit. A check of the food remaining revealed that full contents were present and accounted for. We confirmed that all unused food stuff is disposed of after each guest.4) Complementary condiments are also purchased in bulk, in date, and provided in individual sized servings in the washable, reusable jars you mentioned, to avoid food waste and trash due to unnecessary individual packaging. Just a small way we can help save the planet.5) Freshly laundered sheets were placed on the bed immediately prior to your arrival. No hairs were on the sheets before you arrived.6) The pool is cleaned regularly. If there is a particularly windy night overnight, there is no way to control leaves falling in the pool.7) Your full refund was provided following one conversation.Irene
