Great breakfast

Property was nice enough, and the breakfast was good. The pancake maker was a highlight for our children. Only downside was the noise at night. We were a family of four and the family rooms are in the orchard wing, but this must be where they also put the large groups of lads on golf weekends/stag do’s because at 1am, presumably after the bar shut the party moved upstairs and the walls are very thin. We had to call down to reception and by about 2am they did come up and the noise stopped. I definitely wouldn’t risk going again as a family on a weekend.

This hotel had a weird smell .. I guess it’s old. Was over priced for what you get.

Great traditional interior. Food at the cast iron restaurant was great.

Lovely spa break
Posted 20 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe had a really nice stay, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent as was the spa and spa treatments. Dinner however was on the expensive side
