Hotel is located in an ancient old castle, fascinating history. Hotel should expand upon the history with a small map of the layout identifying the original purposes of the various buildings, ruins and surroundings. Furnishings are a bit spare such that it doesn't rise to the "luxury" class but in all other details it is top notch.

Like staying in a Chateau
Posted 22 Jul 2014 on HotelsA very well restored country house with marvelous stonework and brick-arch ceilings. In a semi-rural setting on the outskirts of a village. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food quality was excellent. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Pros: Clean rooms and everything worked as it should.
Cons: Perhaps a little more attention to diners in restaurant.
Location: Not really too much in immediate locale other than an Aldi and Lidl store.
Stayed overnight with my wife en route to Berlin. Perfectly pleasant room and reception staff and reasonable meal for dinner. There seemed to be long pauses whilst waiting for meal or wine to be served. A little missing in atmosphere but as a business hotel it works fine.
