Perfect location by the water. Food and service were amazing. Hotel is also really clean which is a bonus.

We got a lake front room which was a real treat for us. Staff are really lovely and helpful. Sauna and hottub were appreciated after long hikes. No coffee machine in the room but their restaurant provides all day service with barista coffee and other drinks. Rooms a bit noisy as not sound proof so expect to hear your neighbours if they talk loudly.

Beautiful property on the edge of the lake! Gorgeous views and you can walk on the lake and see the lake from your room.

It is such a beautiful place to stay, on the lake, easy walk into the restaurants and shops, staff super friendly

We travelled NZ for 10 days and this was the only hotel where we did not enjoy our stay. The purpose of our visit to Wanaka was to hike Roy's Peak. The staff were not able to assist us with any information or obtaining water for our hike. They were located away from town and the day we checked in they closed their restaurant at 2pm due to staff shortage and nothing was available to eat or drink for the rest of the day. Also we had to haul our luggage ourselves across the large parking lot to a second floor room that did not have air conditioning.

Kia Ora, it's disheartening to learn that our usual standard of service fell short during your visit. I was surprised to read that our staff were not helpful to you as this is not usually the case. Alternatively, we do have a concierge who is on in the AM & PM who would have been more than happy to provide you with every detail as he is our expert. Regarding offering take away water, we only have sparkling water in glass bottles for sale, but we are happy to refill reusable bottles for guests if they can supply one so apologies if that was unclear. We offer porter services to assist with luggage, and it's regrettable that this option was not extended to you during your stay. We value your feedback and strive to continually improve our services to ensure every guest has a good experience.

Nice stay but needs updating

We are pleased to let you know that the first phase of our hotel renovations was completed at the end of 2023 - resulting in our newly refurbished Premium rooms which are available for booking. Phase 2 is scheduled to begin after Easter, and is due to be completed by the end of this year.
