Mark the host has been very kind, welcoming and helpful from the start. He gave us some sincere recommendations of the area. We have enjoyed our time at Wanaka very much. We left behind some belongings in our room after check-out and we were able to go back to retrieve them with no issues. Sorry for the trouble and thank you Mark!

Found the managers to be very friendly and helpful. My unit was very clean and well equipped. Absolutely loved the stay.

The room is newly decorated and is spacious. The environment of the motel is comfortable and the hosts are very friendly and nice

Noisy !! Paper thin walls - woken at 5.25 a.m hearing the neighbours through the wall. Water pressure pathetic in “peak” times. Wouldn’t stay again @ $315 per night.

Hi Wade. We are sorry to hear your experience wasn't up to your expectations. Sadly the older style Kiwi Motels weren't constructed with current building code sound-proofing in mind. Of course it would have been nice for the guests next door to have been more considerate.All of Wanaka's infrastructure is struggling under intense visitor numbers,so the owners are upgrading all services to the property (as you would have seen under way). I try not to fill our hot tubs during peak hours .Pricing in our busy resort town is dictated by economics rules 101.High demand and shortage of supply is affecting all aspects of accommodation pricing(particularly smaller studio units).Over the last month especially, there have been nights when there are no beds available in the whole region,so prices move upwards everywhere. We do have newer build chalets on the property which may be more to your liking. We hope you enjoyed your time in Wanaka. Regards, Jacqui and Mark.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful & friendly. We were overjoyed with our stay & loved the little kitchen & microwave Ove.

Perfect spot in Wānaka. Very close to restaurants and sites. The property managers were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again! Great amenities to cook your own meals and had laundry facilities.

This motel has been completely redone with a lot of thought put into guest comfort. Although some things were somewhat basic, overall it was a comfortable and quiet place to stay. It was a 5 minute walk to the main area of town and 10 minutes to the lake. It was nice to walk to town instead of trying to find parking.

It's a lovely stay in wanaka, walkable distance to wanaka town center, which is close to the lake beach, shopping and dinning. The property owner was very friendly and give us a short introduction to the fun things to do in wanaka. The room is very clean and in good condition.
