A Lovely hotel in need of some TLC. Staff very friendly but the rooms need some general maintenance and good deep cleaning.

The surroundings and ambiance of the hotel were beautiful and the staff were always polite and attentive. The food was lovely and there was plenty of convenient parking.
I was staying in a room in the old house on the island, which provided beautiful views and grand interiors.
Could be a little noisy in the mornings with trolley's being wheeled over the cobbles.

Following some early confusion with my booking which was my own fault. The Duty Manager was quick to resolve this, which I was very grateful for. All staff and the facilities are excellent and well recommended.

Hotel was lovely , staff was accommodating and helpful , Views was great from the hotel room. Plenty of weddings going on so lots to see

A bit disappointing
Posted 26 Jan 2024 on Hotels The building is very attractive and my room was good but Charlie's Bar was not the room that l had expected to eat in. It was a thoroughfare to the gym and swimming pool. The views in daytime were beautiful but at night the open curtains just showed black glass and the overhead lighting was far too bright .The staff were friendly but the food was not great.
