Let’s be fair the place could use an update but had a smooth (and somewhat funny) check in with a cool little 3-legged dog manning reception.
Didn’t end up actually staying due to personal circumstance but from what I saw the place was in pretty good nick for what I paid. My studio was HUGE, beds felt comfy, staff were chill and friendly (we like chill) and a nice, quiet environment

They went out of their way to assist. They had our meal ready by the time we arrived as I had emailled them about restaurant closing time and was suggested I preorder. Very friendly

The property needs a huge upgrade and the cleaning was not that great. U pay for what u get. Got given milk that expired that day, some sugar in unit no tea or coffee, yet there was the unit for it to go in.

Due to cyclone damage around Wairoa, i think one has to commend them on getting back on track.
