Location is convenient to the airport and well placed as a base for exploring Iceland. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shared kitchen is well equipped and conveniently located to the rooms. The managers were friendly and helpful. In short, a great find. We would certainly go there again.

Nice little place!!!
Posted 27 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe stayed one night. Very clean space. Had a shared kitchen that was well stocked and very clean. Hot tub was not on due to severe cold weather and sub freezing temps risking freezing of water pipes. Nearby eating options extremely limited. Although we didn’t see the northern lights, the town had an excellent viewing area.

Posted 1 Jan 2024 on HotelsA great little motel with plenty for 1/2 nights. We used as a base to drive to Reykjavík and Golden Circle. Provided everything we needed and even had a tablet to watch Netflix etc on. Check in instructions are clear and I would recommend should you want to use as a base or as stop from the airport.

The owner was so helpful and friendly and made us really welcome
All the facilities we needed and to our surprise a hot tub
Convenient for the airport and blue lagoon
