I rented 2 rooms.. The chemical paint smell was horrific and caused medical issues from 1 of the rooms. In the other was a mold and mildew smell. The sheets had holes in them. Property is partially renovated; however the renovations are at bottom of the barrel. New beds are loud and uncomfortable. Walmart has a better grade of towels and linen Check in/Lobby was dirty and looked like it was in a poverty stricken area including the thick plastic glass at the counter. I had stayed at nearby hotels in the past; but nothing as low grade as this. With the Wyndham name I would have never expected this experience. Definitely a 1 star Motel.

Sheets were dirty and when we were having them switch out the sheets we gave them our towels as well, get home from vacation and now theyre saying theyre going to hold the deposit on the room saying we took the towels. I called them and voiced my concern and its bassicaly a he said she said and I dont think ill be getting my deposit back. Worst experience at a hotel ever go somewhere else.

The non smoking rooms smell a lot of smoke in it

I couldn’t even stay due to feeling very unsafe at the hotel and in the room. The minute I pulled into the parking lot the hotel felt unsafe. I tried to give it a chance, so I asked the person working the desk that was behind glass ( like you would find in a place where they were scared for their safety) to show me the room. He was accommodating and took me to see the room. As soon as the door was opened all I could smell was very musty and my worry about safety did not go away for myself or my child. I ask the desk attendant about canceling the reservation and he told me I needed to contact who I booked with to do that. When I contacted Expedia they contacted the hotel and they refused. So I was lied to so I would leave.

Very sorry to hear you did not stay, all rooms have been upgraded, with new walls, floors, furniture and bathrooms. We have many families with children that stay on a regular basis and are very friendly and allow the children to play in our grassy areas during great spring days. We welcome all families and despite what our very old reviews have written, we are not the same motel that it was years ago and we hope you visit again and stay.

I do apologize you feel that way, but you did not stay for your reservation and was placed on our no show list. We are link with our local police department and are now under new ownership and management. We have come a long way cleaning up our property and are very proud to have come this far. Please come for an actually stay to keep information updated and have a great day.

I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about this place but it must have been before they made some renovations. I reserved 8 rooms and everyone was happy with theirs. Everything was new and clean. The receptionist was also very friendly and professional. The only downsides were that it was on a busy road and you could hear the traffic and they don’t serve breakfast, however they do give you $5 vouchers to use at the Dennys right next door. Would have no problem going back there if I ever visited Vineland again.
