Cristian and Adri are the best hosts! Easy-going, welcoming, full of great ideas for where to eat and what to do. Superb breakfast, beautiful decor and rooms filled with light. Lovely courtyard for relaxing. We were so comfortable and would gladly return again!!

Esencia Hotel Boutique was amazing.
From the moment you check in you get greeted with such hospitality, comfortable rooms and delicious cook to order breakfast.
Owners and operators Cristian and Adri are such kind people and awesome hosts. Thanks for treating us so well.

We had a wonderful time at Escentia boutique hotel. Andreanne and Christian went above and beyond to make sure we had all that we needed. The breakfast was made to order and they had options for my dietary restrictions. The outside garden is very quiet and relaxing. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!!

The hosts were wonderful. They went way out of their way to make us welcome and to make our Stay enjoyable. However the review deferred maintenance items on the property. Nothing major, but less than perfect.

Andreann and Christian are so lovely
The Way Ecencia had lovely rooms and charming little nooks in the gardens
The blow dryer in the room was the best hotel dryer I’ve ever had and that’s including the big fancy hotels
They took such great care of us with wonderful dinner recommendations and arrangements for transportation
The breakfast was delicious and served with individual and personal care for preference and food allergies
We felt like we were leaving family when we checked out

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Esencia. The gated property is a nice and clean, breakfast amazing, location just a few blocks from the ocean, Surrounded by many restaurants, Christian and Adro are amazing hosts. Uber or Taxi are convenient for transportation. Highly recommend!

Beautiful garden surrounding elegantly restored building gives feeling of welcoming and peaceful life even if just off busy street with lots of restaurants and cafes and services. Staff very kind and accommodating. Breakfast wonderful. Room had large windows looking out onto green treetops with flowers and birds. Bedding warm and mattress comfortable. Bathroom has great shower and fluffy towels. Everyone super nice.

Posted 18 Dec 2023 on HotelsWhat an absolute gem of an hotel. It’s set down a quiet street but very close to nice bars, cafes and restaurants.
Hosts are very warm and welcoming.
The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated. The whole place feels more like a home than an hotel.
The little seating areas outside are a delight.
We did have a slight issue with a lack of hot water the morning we were leaving. However, we didn’t have time to mention it, so I can’t complain that it wasn’t sorted.
On the whole I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

The owners Adri and Cris are as warm and hospitable as can be. The breakfast is fantastic, the beds are comfy, the location is perfect...definitely and highly recommend!
