B&b - place to visit
Posted 25 Jul 2023 on HotelsAndrea has a great hospitality, very kind calm person, willing to help, and further more he does it all by himself. room with a view to Sicily, great breakfast and great clean room with all the amenities you can think of.

The property is situated high on a hill with fantastic views of the coastline and Messina across the harbor.
The owner was wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful especially since we were tired after driving all day. There are no restaurants near the B&B so he recommended we go to Scilla, not far away, where we found a very nice restaurant.
Breakfast at the B&B was very good.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

No internet and it looked like it had been down for a long time.
The owner gave us a page of directions that were wrong - incorrect streets and a recommendation to a restaurant that was closed.

The building was nice but the surroundings was unfinished needed more investmentThe hotel was rated 5 star but wasn’t The hotel was over rated We adviced from the owner not to use to much water No minibar and refrigerator in the room the mattress was very hard

Nice host. Good breakfast. Great views. Very quiet and peaceful however a bit too far from restaurants. Unfortunately the internet was not available for 2 full days and very weak when available next two days.
One point of contention. We stayed for 4 nights there. Another couple stayed for one night and were given the better of the 2 double rooms for that night. The better double bedroom stayed unoccupied for the next three nights even though we asked if we could shift into it but we were told that the room was bigger and was really for three people but even so why give it to a couple staying only for one night, surely people staying for longer should be given the better room.

Premetto che le tre stanze del B&B sono allestite allo stesso modo (stessi arredamenti,stessi bagni spaziosi,ecc).L'unica differenza è che una delle tre è leggermente più grande.Tale stanza viene utilizzata,in casi eccezionali,per poter ospitare anche tre persone il cui arrivo,il più delle volte,non può essere previsto o programmato.E'necessario,quindi,affittarla dopo aver occupato le altre due.Tengo a precisare,inoltre,che tutti gli ospiti,a prescindere dai giorni di soggiorno,sono trattati al meglio delle mie possibilità.Per il collegamento Internet ha ragione.Unirò alle mie rimostranze nei confronti del gestore telefonico anche le Sue.

The host is super. We ended up not staying to meet friends elsewhere last minute, however we were shown to our lovely rooms. The place is great with super views. You will have to drive to eat but otherwise clean and perfect.
