Exactly What I Was Expecting
Posted 11 Jul 2020 on HotelsIt was exactly what I needed and was expecting- a cheap place to stay in Vigo for a few days. It is certainly not a luxury hotel, but it is a safe, comfortable, and well-located. The couple who works there are really wonderful and they went out of their way to be helpful for me. The only downfall was that my room was on an upper floor, so sometimes the wifi didn't work very well, but it wasn't a huge issue for me. There's a restaurant out front of the hotel that has really yummy tortilla, which is a definite perk, and I found it easy to walk wherever I needed to go.

This is a very clean hotel with very friendly staff. The location is awesome and well situated. However, this hotel has few amenities.

Check in took a long time as the manager had not finished cleaning and the room was not ready. Sheets on the bed were very thin and they did not stay in place. Location was good in the centre of town easy to get around. Lots of places nearby to eat.

There is a bar near the hostel, and it was noisy for overnight until morning. It was difficult to sleep. In addition, hotel staff did not understand English very well.
