pleasant vacation stay
Posted 11 May 2016 on HotelsStreets in Vietri sul Mare are confusing to the newcomer -- many one-way streets that make getting around awkward until you figure out the system. The personnel at the Bellavista were kind, welcoming, and accommodating -- very helpful.

Good overnight on the Amalfi coast of Italy
Posted 5 May 2016
Pros: Although we did not meet the owner, everything ran smoothly, and the staff was attentive to our needs.
Cons: can not think of anything
Location: the location was on the southern end of the famed Amalfi coast road, just north of Salerno. We got there early evening and left early next morning.
We found the B & B with our Tom Tom GPS device. It was no problem, and we spotted our abode quickly as a large awning proclaimed their name. We were welcomed by a young woman who urged us to take advantage of the secured parking they offered. We did so and quickly gained entry to our 2nd floor room which opened to a large patio overlooking a water view. The room was spacious, and clean with a comfortable king size bed. The bath was modern and the shower was nice with steady temperature control. Breakfast included fresh pastry, 4 or 5 choices of juice, tea or coffee, cold cuts of meat, yogurt, and the morning staff also prepared hard boiled eggs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and more than met our needs for one night.

A conveniently located B&B with all home comforts
Posted 18 Apr 2016
Pros: Staff, service, informal home from home feeling, location
Cons: Italians like to keep warm even in hot weather but for us duvets were too warm for April - a thinner blanket would've made sleeping more comfortable.
Location: Don't drive to Amalfi and Positano - take a ferry from Solerno instead. Easy drive to Poestum. Try Evu restaurant in Vietri.
This property is an appartment converted into a spacious B&B, 4 rooms in total, 3 of them with sea view and two come out onto a lovely large balcony - ask for one of them if travelling in warm weather. Breakfast is prepared in the kitchen area, where there is also a fridge full I of cold drinks and a coffee machine for guests' use at any time. We were the only guests staying a whole week and it really felt like home, especially when there were no other guests there. It was like renting an apartment but with somebody to come every day to make your breakfast (which was lovely and plentiful) and clean your room. The lady called Niño came every morning and was fantastic: polite, friendly, helpful, couldn't do enough to make us comfortable.
Vietri is a lovely place with enough restaurants and shops to satisfy all tastes and only a short trip from Solerno with lots more shops and good transport connections, ferries to Amalfi and Positano and a fast A3 motorway to Napels, Pompeii etc. It is an excellent base for exploring the area by car. We visited the coast between Paestum and Sorrento, Napels and surrounding sites and never had to drive for longer than an hour.

My husband and I went on a honeymoon to Italy. Our first night was spent here. Luigi was very nice and helpful, from helping us with our bags to giving good suggestions. There was water and juice in the fridge which we were welcome to whenever we wanted and breakfast the next morning was delicious! The hotel is not quite on the water but has a great view of it and a great wine bar next door.

Wonderful days at Bellavista B&B
Posted 18 Sep 2015 on HotelsWe stayed at the hotel for four nights. Near to Salerno where we took a boattrip to Amalfi. We also visited Pompeji wich is not far away from Vietri Sul Mare. The owner of the hotel was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was of course included but we could also help ourself with coffe, the, soft drinks and sandwiches at any time.

Great B&B
Posted 14 Jun 2015 on HotelsWe had a great room with a large balcony overlooking the Amalfi coast. Eleanor could not have been more gracious offering fruit, pastries, etc when we arrived. Breakfast was served on our balcony. We were only there one night but wished we had stayed longer.
