Harbour view room window is too high to sit and look out. There’s a treacherous step up into the bathroom. Not good for elderly people.

I booked this hotel for my boss as our usual place didn't have accommodation at time of booking. The only positive thing my boss said was the view was nice (harbor view room).
That was after he called me to say someone, apparently a hotel worker, just walked into his room without notice or even knocking. I would say the place is clean as I was told the whole hotel stunk of bleach. He said more but I'd rather not repeat it.

The hotel is an older hotel kept in good shape. The hotel is getting a new roof and fixing the outer walls. Was warned it would be noisy but I found it quiet during the night. I was out all day so didn't notice any noise. Room was clean and quiet. I faced the harbor so had a nice view. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The renovation have improved the hotel. No air-conditioning in rooms. They do supply a fan in the room. Elevator needs to be fixed, as it jerks when it stops.

Great location overlooking the harbourside but as a result the front rooms can be noisy.
