It was one of the cleanest and comfortable hostel I’ve ever stayed in around the world. From amenities to decorations, i could tell the owner cares about the place and the guests.

Super comfortable, very relaxing. Room was modern and clean. Heated bathroom floor. Shared space was nice. Breakfast was standard Icelandic style, coffee was good. I would definitely stay there again.

I liked the view. However, no staff at front desk after hours and force you to call them. We came in late and didn’t have international phone service so we had to call Expedia turning in USA service. Staff drove to property 30-40 min later and checked us in.

Dear Sunny. Sorry to hear about your experience. If we are not around during check in at low season or late hours, we leave the key at the front desk, with instructions. We also have a telephone at the front desk for calling to us if needed. If we are contacted we normally take just a few minutes to arrive, since we are living close to the guesthouse. Hope you will enjoy your stay in Iceland.
