Very pleasant stay, staff friendly and nice. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere....only thing is you need a car because it has no transport.

Set in lovely grounds. Staff were excellent. Lovely swimming pool. Room very clean and nice decor. Lovely restaurant but we were disappointed with our main course. We ordered chicken (which consisted of a small chicken leg and a small thigh) which was very bland and rabbit. Both dishes tasted as if they were cooked in the same pot with very little flavour. Would suggest opting for a pasta dish. Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel and we would definitely go again.

Mosquito paradise

I wanted to love it because agriturismo can be a nice change of pace. The concept of having the food and wine for the on-site restaurant being estate procured and the property being reasonably close to the airport sounded appealing. However, the place was very difficult to enjoy due to swarm of all-day mosquitoes that put those in the Yukon to shame. The television did not work and the WiFi did not reach my room. Ordinarily this would be fine for the type of stay, but I really needed to use the WiFi and paid a dear price using it in common areas due to insect bites. Worst of all, the property is gate guarded. The front desk will tell you that the gate is operated with the room key card. However, they don't tell you they turn the gate off at night and LOCK YOU IN. The staff leaves at night and there is no one at the property to open the gate until the breakfast crew arrives. Good luck getting to the airport for a morning flight. I got locked in and missed my flight from Venice. I called the emergency phone line and the person that answered said he wouldn't send anyone out before breakfast, which starts at 8 or 9 am. He was also incredibly rude as if LOCKING PEOPLE IN YOUR HOTEL is not completely outrageous. The fact that locking me cost me hundreds of dollars wasn't remotely persuasive to him.

Dear Mr. William, we are sorry for the television malfunction, we check every week to make sure they work, could notify us and solve the problem. we are sorry also for mosquitoes but it is not something we can control. we do not lock anyone in, with the room's magnetic key our guests can open the gate day and night (24H). If you warned us about your check-out time, we would have easily explained you where to leave the key when he left the gate and how to get to the airport. In any case, at the gate, just below the card reader there is a phone number to call in case of difficulty and it is active 24H, and you don't call that number. We are not inside the property during the night but we obviously have the possibility to open the gate through the smartphone. Best Regards
