Do not try it
Posted 10 Oct 2019 on HotelsIt was the worst hotel that I ever stayed in Venice, room and shower were terrible! The most annoying thing was mosquito in the room, live and dead (sticking on the wall) mosquitos everywhere.

The location is PERFECT. Close to Giglio waterbus station, close to all the major art galleries and museums, as well as st marks square. It also had many lovely restaurants and shops surrounding it. Wpuld definitely stay here for the location because we only really slept in the hotel, and didnt spend the day in it - so the lack of facilities wasnt an issue at all!
One big issue is the store downstairs - it plays very loud music very early in the morning, which can be annoying. The property itself has thin walls so its easy to hear your neighbours too - though this wasnt too much of a problem.

The staff were very friendly and understanding but the facilities were not upto the mark, we were not able to shut the windows, and bathroom facilities were not good, could not close the bathroom window etc.,

Nightmare
Posted 14 Aug 2019 on HotelsWe paid 50 euro to “upgrade” to a room with a private bathroom. The shower was broken and cut my husband’s foot and leg. The room was absolutely filthy and there was mold and mildew everywhere. Straight out of a nightmare. Not happy about paying extra for something that didn’t even work. Of course the staff has a problem speaking English when there’s an issue.

Mr. Anonymous,
we don't remember that you came to the reception about your problems in the room. It's strange...
There was no problem to change your room if there was any problems.... but probably from home it's better to write about the problems in the room....
