Spider webs in the terrace of the room, carpet of the room smells like cigarettes and the half board paid to Expedia, the hotel never got it and Expedia didn’t answer for it. Ended up in a tourist trap restaurant spending way extra

You contacted us shortly before your stay, unfortunately a free cancellation was no longer possible due to the linked conditions of your reservation. Accordingly, we did our best to offer you a much higher room category for the shorter stay.Also in the follow up of your stay we could not find any confirmation or request of a half board booking, please let us know if you still have not received an answer from Expedia. Amazing and unique property in a small, beautiful town near lake. Wonderful experience from check in until the end. Staff is very friendly and helpful, some even speak Croatian which was great for us. Car parking is for surcharge but it is in the underground garage which is connected to the hotel so you can easily get out and get in and visit the nearby towns or lakes in Italy. It wasn't too crowded so we also got a free upgrade for our honeymoon. Thanks again to the staff! The spa & wellness area is extremely modern and clean. Real enjoyment and relaxation. I especially liked the sauna “aufguss” show which is every hour on weekends. It can be seen that it is done by professionals and that everything is up to five star standard. Breakfast very rich and tasty. All in all for every recommendation! A royal experience in a real castle!
