A simple hostel run by a family. Simple yet reasonable. Interestingly, all tenants during my stay were male. Initially the owner said that they’re overbooked and has to turn me to the dormitory despite of the fact that I’ve booked a room. Eventually he turned a kitchen into a room for me to spend the first night. Very close to a scenic walk with historical hydraulic power plant and natural giant pot holes.

Works well as a budget alternative

It is not a good advice to think of this place as a hotel, the pictures provided might give an impression of a higher standard than in reality. However, with the expectations of a hostel, this place might be great for you. It is clean, close to the station and offers a nice walking path in the close vicinity.

Good when Geneve is overbooked

Very close to train station, you can literally see it when you step out from the Tran (see my photo). But old building, walls between rooms thin, you can hear neighbors and cars on the street. Very basic furniture, but bed comfortable enough. Stuff is kind, for breakfast better take something at the nearest store and make tea of coffee in the kitchen :)

Bonjour, je n'ira pas remettre les pieds là-bas. La personne qui s'occupe de ça se permet de rentrer dans la chambre sans en demander la permission, peu importe l'heure. Par exemple a 7h du matin il rentre voir comment ça se passe, et ensuite aucun respect des autres personnes présentes aussi, du bruit jusqu'à tard la nuit. On entend tout a travers les murs. Après il y a la langue, il ne parle pas très bien le français donc pas terribles la compréhension. Sinon l'endroit est propre et bien pour le prix de la chambre

ancienne caserne en cours de rénovation; problème insonorisation voie SNCF, bruits cage escalier couloir seront difficiles à réduire; pas d'intimité entre chambres; personnel dévoué mais qui ne compense pas que le bâtiment n'est pas un hôtel; SdB WC communs comparatif:F1 =35€/nuit; maxi 1 nuit de passage
