This was a night stop for a long journey. The hotel accepts dogs, has free parking, comfortable, quiet rooms, and a good restaurant. It met our needs. We did not visit the centre of Valence, so it's location close to the motorway was convenient for us. The evening meal in the restaurant was great. You need to book, though; it's very popular. We were not disturbed by the building work on the new spa, perhaps because of a public holiday. Some might want to check whether the construction working hours are likely to disturb their stay. The spa will be great when it's finished, I'm sure. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider staying again.

Very nice hotel. We got in late and left early, but the breakfast was very nice.

Ad redesign

The receptionist on arrival was extremely helpful and breakfast was excellent. Since our last stay, the rooms had been redesigned. Some idiotic architect had thought it was a good idea to put the basin and shower in an open area at the back of the room. Who wants a steam filled bedroom? There’s also a huge TV screen that rises up from the bottom of the bed.

Difficult to find!

The hotel was fine, but two problems. It is difficult to find at night - no signage. The basin in our room did not work properly and was smelly. The staff gave us a refund for this. Excellent food in the restaurant and helpful staff.
