Awesome environment
Posted 28 Sep 2022 on HotelsThese apartments are in an amazing, beautiful area with awesome scenery surrounding it. The woman who runs the facility is very knowledgeable and kind and helpful. She loves her job and is an expert at her duties and the business is lucky to have her taking care of the units. My favorite part was walking each night about an eighth of a mile to a wonderful restaurant for dinner, the only close place nearby. :-) And, it's close to public transportation which I was relying on

Great base for the Dolomites - summer review

Pros: Beutiful location.
Cons: nothing much - good value. no microwave in kitchen
Location: Walking in the dolomites. Great for cycling
Very friendly hotel in a lovely village.. Apartments- let them know if you want to cook with the kitchen. Village is quite small but relatively close to train tation and sports ground with open air swimming pool. A car or bike would be very useful.

Peaceful & quiet, excellent value
Posted 29 Sep 2013We had only one night here in late September 2013. The room was lovely with a well-equipped kitchenette and nice bath. Staff was friendly and helpful. We cooked our own breakfasts as the 11 Euros charge each seemed a bit steep. Our only other quibble was the lack of free WiFi, it was paid all the way. The Winklwiese is at the southern edge of the village and very handy to numerous walking trails in the nearby mountains. The hotel provides free maps which take some liberties with reality, and it is worth walking the 1.5 km into town to get the comprehensive free trail map from the Tourist Info office.

The Tyrol at its best
Posted 22 Sep 2011 on HotelsThis hotel is in the Italian Tyrol and most people speak German. The Hotel looks over a lovely valley and is great for summer trekking or winter skiing. Picutre perfect, family run and meticulously clean, self contained with kitchnette.

Komfortables Appartmenthotel der höheren Kategorie
Posted 14 Apr 2023 on HotelsAls Paar waren wir zwar nur in der kleinsten Variante der angebotenen Studios, aber auch das bot sehr guten Komfort. Saubere, sehr appetitliche Betten mit relativ straffen Matratzen, eine Terasse, die zum Sonnenbaden einlädt, ein normales Bad und eine moderne Küche machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.
Negativ zu erwähnen sind höchstens der schwer zu bedienende Herd (mit Touchfeld) und die sehr merkwürdig zu bedienende Mikrowelle (defekt?). Hier wäre etwas einfacher wohl besser gewesen, nicht jeder möchte zuvor einen Software-Lehrgang abschließen um etwas kochen zu können. Auch die Ausstattung mit Geschir und Töpfen ist noch etwas verbesserungswürdig, speziell wenn man mehr machen möchte als einen Topf Nudeln. Geschirrspüler (45 cm) und Kühlschrank funktionieren wie gewohnt.
Noch ein Hinweis: Für einen Marsch an den Pragser Wildsee direkt vom Hotel sollte man ein erfahrener Berggänger sein. Die Tour geht über 1.200 m Aufstieg zur Brunst Alm zunächst auf über 2.200 m, dann 600 m Abstieg zum See. Die Alternative geht eben über einen Radweg, am Staussee vorbei nach Welsberg, dann langsamer Aufstieg über Prags und Schmieden hinauf zum See. Das sind 20 km Strecke, zumeist auf Asphalt, der Aufstieg am Ende (500 Höhenmeter) zieht dann endgültig die letzten Reserven aus den Muskeln.
Ungeübten Wanderern ist dann besser der (kostenlose) Zug von Olang nach Welsberg zu empfehlen, und Aufstieg von dort (ca. 12 km), oder erst mit Zug und Bus hinauf zum See, und dann von dort heimlaufen.

Hallo Christian, danke für die liebenswerte Bewertung! Wir werden die Mikrowelle sofort checken - wenn defekt natürlich reparieren. Der Herd sollte eigentlich toll funktionieren und Tuch muss es sein, damit keine ekligen Ränder bei längerem Gebraucht entstehen...also einfach viel sauberer zu reinigen...Daher. Pros: Parco giochi/garage/spazio in camera.
Cons: Non siamo amanti della moquette nelle stanze. Permaneva un leggero odore, non ben identificato, forse di qualche fumatore precedente...
Location: Si affaccia su una bella valle. Prati tagliati alla perfezione. Molti animali, cavalli... Seggiovia per Plan de Corones a pochi min di auto.
Parcho giochi completo con numerose attrattive e animali, calcio, ping-pong, giardino...
Si affaccia su una bella valle. Il nostro appartamento era spazioso, con camera, soggiorno e due bagni. La veranda portava direttamente dalla camera al parco giochi.
Stanza completa di frigo/piano cottura, detersivo,...
