C’était tres bien. Propre tranquille. Belle literie, mais je n’aime pas les oreillers qui sont trop mous. Bonne adresse à retenir!

Second time visiting
Posted 23 Oct 2023 on HotelsLove staying here! I wish we could have used the backyard this time but it didn’t stop raining. The breakfast croissants are the highlight for me, so good.

This property sells itself as high end but is a glorified youth hostel-we were overcharged clearly by posted rates and I would not ever recommend this place. My wife has a knee injury and had to climb awkward stairs to “luxury” (the words from a staff member not mine)-full bathroom hardly accurate and being in construction industry this place doesn’t meet code with tripping hazards and extension cords everywhere
I am blaming Expedia too as this is third time I have had been to falsely marketed properties and won’t use them again either for my business and will let others know that I deal with
I want a refund and explanation anything less won’t cut it with me

We respect all comments, but yours are especially unique and amazing. We take careful note of customer comments, but we cannot take them into account here, since they do not represent reality.Your comments are about:- Overbilling? : you have booked with Expedia, accepted the amount to be paid and no further billing has been presented to you.-Construction sector?: Nowhere is there construction or renovation in the hostel-Extension cords everywhere? : only one extension cord is installed and it is under the bed, so it is impossible for it to do any harm- Stairs: yes there is only one staircase between the ground floor and the first floor, Expedia specifies in several places that there is no elevator...The only comment that seems appropriate to us is the one talking about the youth hostel, indeed the concept can be related to it, however in a more modern and luxurious version, thanks to mention it to make it clear to future customers.In 4 years of existence and after more than 10,000 customers, the Obergeinn's approval rating is greater than 9 out of 10 on all rental platforms without exception.

Great stay at Oberge!
Posted 7 Oct 2023 on HotelsThe Overage Inn was perfect! I was doing the marathon on the P'tit Train du Nord trail, and the Inn was less than 1/2 mile walking distance to the start. The Innkeeper was wonderful and offered to help me find transportation back to the Inn after the race. The breakfast each morning was delicious and convenient...and they even had a small fire pit by the lake each evening. The Inn was cozy, well appointed, and really comfortable. And all the people staying there were friendly and great to talk to. There was also a grocery store and a few local restaurants within walking distance. I will return in the future!
