Regular business hotel
Posted 18 Dec 2018 on HotelsOverall your basic business hotel in Japan. Small rooms and no frills. I did hear that the breakfast buffet is worth the price. Not my first choice of hotels in Utsunomiya but in a pinch it will do.

Pros: Everything was pretty great.
Cons: Perhaps some updates to the decor. The doors also confused me a bit initially.
Location: A bit far away from the city center, roughly 10-15 minutes walk. But there's a fantastic arcade nearby which I urge everyone to visit.
Overall I'm very happy with the hotel. I will concede that it does seem like an older property, so some parts of it do seem a bit old-fashioned. But everything is very well maintained and works well.

Convenient location and friendly staff
Posted 11 Apr 2018Stayed here for three weeks -- the staff was friendly and the room quiet and comfortable. The hotel is in a convenient location being nearby the main station, and with a supermarket + Daiso only two blocks away. Two blocks in a different direction is a large local park.

Nice hotel close to Utsunomiya station & IZAKAYA

Pros: The bed and pillow is the best.
Although the check in time is too late in night, the hotel staff can be support.
Close to Utsunomiya station and delicious IZAKAYA by walking.

The breakfast, a buffet, was very tasty and comfortable.
It was helpful that there are a lot of plugs in the room.
The toothbrush was too small to brush my teeth easily and sufficiently.
Bath room was cramped to take a shower.

Small room, relatively close to the station
Posted 20 Nov 2016 on CheapTicketsThe bathtub width in the room is quite narrow so when having a shower your arms will touch the curtain and the wall. The price is cheap so if you only need somewhere to stay for a night and on a tight budget this place is OK.
