Pillows had only one cover and it could easily be seen that the actual pillow was extremely dirty and yellow. I suggest to wash them regularly or use double covers and make it discreet!

This was a great home-base for our short stay in Utrecht. It’s close to the train station (pro tip: you can cut through the mall instead of walking all the way around the block!), and we had the most amazing meal ever at SMAAK, which is conveniently situated in the alleyway directly behind the hotel. There’s a Starbucks right next door and a grocery store nearby, and it’s within walking distance of the canal district with all its shops and restaurants, and there’s a bike rental shop close by as well. The room itself was clean and they had washcloths in the bathroom (the only hotel of the three we stayed in on our trip to the Netherlands who offered them), and the front desk was happy to hold our luggage for us on our arrival and departure days when we had some additional exploring to do. In addition, the breakfast was top-notch. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is the best and walkable from Utrecht station through the shopping mole or outside the mole. And also many dining area.

Centrally located hotel

Disappointing for the price

This was a one-night business stay in the Leonardo. I've stayed in Leonardo hotels before, and they've been fine - but this was disappointing. There was no air con in the room, the room was small and bland (no pictures, drab furniture). The bed was comfortable enough, the staff were helpful, and everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was OK and adequate, rather than amazing. Overall it was fine - but just...meh... I'd have expected a bit more glitz and glamour for the price. For not much more, my colleague was in a much better hotel round the corner....
