Staff were amazing at this hotel! Collins at the front desk was fantastic! Housekeeping aunties and uncles too! I chose this hotel because I really wanted to have good night sleep traveling from Asia! I made the right choice! Silent, absolutely silent! Much larger rooms than those in the same area. Bath tub came with a disabled handle on the side! Basic common sense, I appreciated that. Reminder: If you have allergies to perfumes, please do let them know beforehand not to spray air freshener in your room. You cannot open the hotel windows above the 3rd floor in California, I couldn't air the room out!

My hotel was prepaid and my flight cancelled When I asked for a refund, management refused

Dear Otto,Management never refused you a refund. Since you booked and paid Expedia directly, you need to work with them on your refund request. It is always advisable to purchase travel insurance for additional protection. We are always happy to assist in anyway we can. Best wishes.

Our stay at the Orchard was great! Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was well located to transportation, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel was clean and comfortable. And certainly doing their part to be eco-friendly. Our only knock would be that the cleaning staff was not consistent. Some days everything was picked up, restocked, and there was attention to detail. Other days things were not replenished, forgotten, or surfaces were not wiped down. We would choose the Orchard again👍

Beautiful small hotel, comfortable room will all amenities including fridge, friendly staff, good restaurant for breakfast.

This property is in the heart of Nob Hill walking distance to China Town and Union Square. It is steps away from the cable car street and right above a main bus stop. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Not much of a lobby and no free breakfast - but you can make coffee in your room.

Friendly staff, quiet, spacious room, fabulous breakfast options, and close to public transportation. Factor in a steep daily rate for nearby parking if you have a car though.
