Location is a bit off-putting, but the hotel itself was great. Lovely pool, nice food, clean, large and well designed rooms. Service was excellent, as was the spa.

BAR IN THE HOTEL WAS VERY NOISY WITH LOUD MUSIC TILL MID NIGHT WAS NOT ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT DUE TO LOUD MUSIC

The hotel property was nice and had potential, but the room we were given was terrible. The bedsheets were not washed or kept properly, the bathroom was dingy, and there was dust everywhere in the room.

Wonderful hotel on a lake in Udaipur
Posted 17 Oct 2023 on HotelsWonderful hotel facing one of the lakes in Udaipur, close to everything but still quiet and calm. Beautiful pool in courtyard and three restaurants with delicious food. The service was excellent - the staff was always friendly and accommodating.

Swaroop Vilas Hotel is a boutique hotel true to its name with every minute detail and decorations. They gave free upgrade to Superior room. Some ventilation needs to be provided to bathroom. Staff needs to be trained for courtesy and greetings to provide service with smile. Buffet breakfast was average.

The hotel was not kept well. They kept forgetting to clean the bathrooms. I had to ask multiple times. Exhaust fan was not working. There was no fridge in the room. The first floor rooms were smelling like urine.

Breakfast not very good, all Indian food to much roti not have any kind of rice fruit vegetables curry.. disappointed on breakfast because I pay extra for breakfast, I hope it's more good but not
